THE PART
The largest welded structure we work with.
A boom is a welded box beam — the most architectural part of an excavator. Shortened and stood upright, the taper that carried bending load becomes the taper of a pylon.
THE TRANSFORMATION
Sections are cut to height, the cut is capped and dressed, and each pylon is plated into a wide foot. The pivot bosses are kept at seat height, where they read.
We take the part from a documented source and assess its condition.
We remove grease, loose corrosion and everything that does not belong to the future object.
We reinforce the structure, smooth the contact zones and design a stable base.
We keep the authentic patina, seal the steel and fit the glass.
We number the piece and issue the certificate of transformation.
